Sarcina

Opening Date: August 25th, 2009

Sarcina is a realistic intermediate/advanced wolf rpg with two packs. With it's current plot it offers members a chance to sit back and enjoy a wolf rp that isn't light vs. dark and the ability to have their own sub-plots. Though Sarcina is a realistic wolf rpg, it offers several unrealistic ranks, dens all year round and more human like feelings. So what are you waiting for? Summer
Summer has come to the lands of Sarcina and Insurgo. The days are hot and the nights are normally the same. Rain comes at least once a week now and often brings heavy winds with it. However, game is plentiful in both lands and with that comes full bellies for everyone.

Plot

"Look around you. Listen. Watch for the signs. A war is coming. Your allies will drop, one by one, I will take them. I'd run if I was you."

For as long as any wolf can remember the lands of Sarcina have lived in peace, the rank of alpha being handed down for generations. The rule was never questioned, the pack stood together always as one regardless of the danger.

However, a change has been brought on the winds in the arrival of a mysterious wolf who has challenged the long standing pack. Though seemingly small in threat at first, the new wolf has created unrest in the pack, and has even shook that of the young alphess.

The idea of Sarcina is the brain child of me, Kaliska. Keep your paws off. The orginal plot and Insurgo boards were created by my former co-admin of the old Sarcina, Bucephalus. The plot and boards have been edited some by myself. The board images were taken from that of Flickr.com.

Outskirts

Insurgo Lands
	Jagged Cliff (4 sub-boards) Outside the lands of Sarcina there lies a lone, jagged cliff which serves as the headquarters for the Insurgo pack. Tread carefully however, the climb to the top of the cliff is a dangerous one and the path is often heavily guarded as it is the only way in or out of the Insurgo lands. 	Inner Lands (3 sub-boards) The inner lands of Insurgo are only reachable by first climbing up the Jagged Cliff and then taking an extra tunnel out of the main cavern. These lands are small but protected by thick cliff walls like those of the Jagged cliff. However, these walls lack any form of pathways in or out making the area very safe. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	White Waterfall At the foot of the cliff, a large lake is formed by a waterfall that branches off the Swine River. Behind the waterfall lies a cave used to store prisoners, guarded by guards, of course. Wolves that are too tired to make the climb up the cliff are also welcome to hunt in the forests surrounding the lake, and spend the night here. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Withering Grasslands The withering grasslands are located nearly a day’s travel to the west of the White Waterfall (and north of Sarcina). These grasslands are often home to a smaller breed of deer and numerous rabbits. Many of the hunting parties do their hunting here, though be warned these lands are not known for being abundant with prey all the time. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
Northern Lands
	Fire Mountain This mountain stands upon the Northern borders of the pack's land. During the spring and summer months this mountain is covered in that of red flowers. During sunrise and sunset the mountain looks as if it is on fire thus it got its name. This mountain of course is like any other, with its rock ledges and whatever else. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Flower Meadow Just north of Fire Mountain is a small meadow called Flower Meadow because of the numerous numbers of flowers in which grow there. This is a true favorite for pups in the springtime because of the color. Sometimes a rabbit or two can be caught here. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Competition Ring A dirt plain encompassed by rocks is used for competitions. The rocks can be used for boundaries or seats for an audience. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
Southern Lands
	Elk Meadow This meadow is filled with tall grasses of many types. This meadow is known to be a grazing favorite for elk and deer. If your in need of a large meal start here first you might get lucky. Watch out for the rabbit holes that litter the ground. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	The Wood The wood is a small forest of trees that surround the Clearwater Stream. This wood is great with its large bolders and fallen trees. It might be a great place to make a den. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Clearwater Stream This stream flows thorugh the middle of the wood on the southern lannds. This stream normally is a slow moving one with multi-colored rocks at its base. Here you can relax or have sometime to yourself as the water runs slowly across the stones. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
Eastern Lands
	Gathering Rock In the center of the pack lands just South of the Flower meadows there is the gathering place of the pack known as the Gathering Rock. This rock is indeed a large one, large enough to hold both alphas when a meeting is held. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Silver Lake This lake at night has a silver apperance when the moon shines upon it. Along the banks there are many smaller shrubs and bushes where small game might be lurking. This lake is home to many types of fish and that is a tasty treat to some. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Pine Forest The Pine Forest is of course a forest of pine trees. The trees are far enough appart that if you wish to have a good romp that is possible. The trees themselves though far appart still provide a good wind break. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
Western Lands
	Hunting Grounds The Hunting Grounds stand upon the Western side of the pack's lands. Here is were the pack's hunters are trained. This area is also useful for finding a meal as is many other areas in the pack's land due to the game that ranges from small game to large. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Storage Cave This cave through more like a den is were the pack's winter supply of food is stored in case of a bad winter. Please remember to add to the storage cave when you have leftovers or just go hunting for fun. If you take anything from this cave please leave a list of what you have taken and your pawprint on the stone tablet outside the cave. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
	Lookout Hill Lookout Hill is only a stone thow away from the hunting grounds. From here you can see a good deal of the pack's lands in fact this is the second highest point in the pack's lands. Moderator: Kaliska	0	0
